Far too nice a day to stay at work, by 1030 I decided I should be paddling. By noon, I was launching into Langstone Harbour for a short solo paddle. The south easterly breeze was kicking up the sea against the ebbing tide quite nicely making or a bouncy ride. Forty minutes later, I was ashore on Long Island for my lunch - better than the office by far. Another forty minutes of paddling around the islands saw my time up.
This was the first day of sunny paddling weather this year.
